February Meeting

On Tuesday, Feb 22, Author and allergy expert Sloane Miller will speak at the Hudson Valley Celiac Support Group meeting. Miller's blog, Please Don't Pass the Peanuts, is widely read. She will share her expertise as a leading voice in the food allergic community. She counsels individual clients and groups, restaurants, hotels, and government agencies, including the National Institutes of Health and the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs, where she served as the consumer reviewer for 2010. Her 2011 book Allergic Girl: Adventures in Living Well with Food Allergies, the definitive how-to guide for living safely, effectively and joyfully with food allergies, will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
