Speaker for the June 28th support group was Chynna Foucek. Chynna, now a High School senior, shared her experience with Celiac disease and talked about the gluten free food company she founded. Samples from My Kidz Gluten Free Products were provided. The website is www.mykidzgfp.com. Her GF products are sold in some local health food stores. Chynna has been involved in several community volunteer activities and has participated in fund raising events for The University of Maryland Celiac Disease Center and The Columbia University Celiac Disease Center.
Chynna plans to continue her commitment to celiac disease awareness when she goes on to college. She is an inspiration and we are looking forward to having her at our June meeting.
